I fear that it has been
vier monaten that I have been here in Germany (see what I did there all you german language lovers....or just me). As short of a time as that seems to be so much has already happened! and the time has gone by so fast that I am just that much closer to going home :(
But I'm not going to think about that, instead I am going to spend as much time with my wonderful new host family as I can. Although I am not at liberty to describe exactly what happened with my last host family, or my host rotary club as well, I should mention that I am having a much much better time right now and I think the past is the past and this was definitely something that was meant to be!
I now have 2 new host sisters whom I love so so much and we are constantly laughing and of course eating chocolate. A few days ago my new host family and I went to Munich for a day. I had obviously gone myself many times before but there is something about being with a German family that just makes the experience a little more authentic. I also got to see my youngest host sister do some cool gymnastics exercises which she is amazing at. I do not remember being that athletic at her age!
Other than walking through extraordinarily expensive shops and towards anything that smelt delicious, we also had time to really bond, what in between the crazy german school homework and all, and I will definitely put this down as one of the best moments in my exchange.
oh and there was bier too!
